You are not the first or the last person to go through the process of packing before moving. To make life easier for everyone moving, we have put together a few packaging life hacks based not only on the rules, but also on personal experience.

Keep clothes on hangers. Hang clothes on a hanger and pack in a special bag. So you will spend less time washing and ironing when you have many other things to do.

Cover the openings of the liquid boxes with plastic wrap to minimize the possibility of leakage.

Pack your bag for the first time. Store all essentials in a separate bag or suitcase that will always be with you. This life hack is useful not only when moving, but also for travel.

Label boxes on the sides, not on top, so you can see the label even when they are stacked on top of each other.

Distribute packing materials. Place the right amount of packing materials in each room so you don’t have to go back and forth to pack.

Take care of fragile items. Use newspapers, old clothes, and packing materials to protect fragile items in every room.

Do not pack valuables, including family heirlooms, jewelry, and legal documents. It is better to transport them personally.
